occurs in coastal areas from Many Peaks Range to Shoalwater Bay (Makinson, 2000). Hernandia bivalvis is a tree growing up to 20 m tall. The trunk is about 25 cm in diameter and the bark is grey (Wang 1996). Hernandia bivalvis mainly grows in rainforest on rock pavements and outcrops with shallow soils. Most Queensland Herbarium records are from either vine thicket or microphyll vine forest. It occurs up to 620 m altitude (Queensland Herbarium). Hernandia bivalvis is restricted to the central coastal and south east Queensland. It is known from Dryander Creek (near Proserpine) south to Mt Tamborine (north east of Beaudesert). Marsdenia brevifolia is a small 1m high shrub, with cylindrical stems that twine and exude white latex when cut. Leaves have a dark green upper surface and a pale yellow-green under surface which is hairy. The leaves are 4cm long and 2cm wide, wedge-shaped at the base and tapering to a point at the apex. The species occurs in north and central Queensland where it is known from near Townsville (as well as a small population at West Point on Magnetic Island), Springsure and north of Rockhampton (Forster, Circumscription of Marsdenia (Asclepiadaceae: Marsdenieae), with a revision of the genus in Australia and Papuasia, 1995a). North of Rockhampton, the species grows on serpentine rock outcrops or serpentine derived crumbly black soils in eucalypt woodland, often with Eucalyptus fibrosa and Corymbia xanthope . Further north near Paluma, the species grows in woodland on granitic soils dominated by Eucalyptus granitica (BRI Collection Records, undated). Macropteranthes leiocaulis grows in vine thickets and dry rainforest from approximately Gayndah to Townsville (Harden, 2018).
Unlikely : There is 1 WO record within 10 km of Project area. There are 2 ALA records 10 km east of the Project area. The species is a rainforest species and will not be found in the open woodland REs present within the Project area. Project area all further than 30 km from the Project area. There are no records within 10 km of the Project area and therefore species is unlikely to be present Unlikely : There are ALA records within 50 km of
