The extent of each regional ecosystem to be cleared and the associated emissions that will results are shown in Table 6Table 6. Emissions from Vegetation Clearing. All vegetation clearing is expected to be completed within 2028 and the emissions associated with the heavy machinery used for clearing are outlined in Section 6.1.2.

6.1.2. Fuel Combustion Expected fuel usage for the Project was calculated using estimated hours of operation of equipment and associated fuel consumption rates. The activities required for each phase of the Project lifecycle are shown in Table 7 and the following assumptions were used in calculations: • Working days will be 11.5 hours and work will occur 7 days a week, and activities will not overlap; • Equipment will be utilised throughout each activity with an estimated idle time percentage of 30%; and • Exact equipment models for activities are still subject to change, but specific models with appropriate specifications have been selected for calculations to obtain values for fuel consumption.
