6.2. Scope 2 Emissions The main source for Scope 2 Emissions for the Project is expected to be electricity usage in pump systems. Pump powers were estimated using flow rates determined in the water balance for the Project (GHD, 2025) and estimated head for each pump. The hours of operation for each pump assume constant use throughout each phase. The electricity usage per year for each phase is shown in Table 10 and the expected electricity usage by year is shown in Table 11.
