NATURE AND EXTENT OF PROJECT ACTIVITIES
The Mount Morgan Project will remain in Care and Maintenance for the duration of this PoO. Activities to be conducted on site during this period are limited to maintenance and environmental investigations, with no rehabilitation works projected (apart from those supporting maintenance and environmental investigations). No mining, exploration or mineral processing will take place during the term of this PoO.
No EA amendments have been approved since the last PoO was submitted.
Minor activities to be conducted on-site during the term of this PoO are described below.
1) Maintenance – Tracks, sumps and laydown areas will be maintained if necessary, to support site stability and environmental monitoring. The maximum disturbance footprint of ancillary infrastructure will be 2 ha. This will require rehabilitation when no longer in use.
2) Environmental investigations – will include (but not be limited to):
o Surveying and geotechnical investigations;
o Sampling and testing of water, sediment, soil, vegetation or other environmental samples; and
o Mapping and photographing soil, vegetation and landscape features.
3) Rehabilitation – If required, rehabilitation works will be carried out at the end of each job before supervisor and contractor leave site. Proposed rehabilitation activities are detailed in Section 5.0. During the term of this PoO, rehabilitation will only be conducted to support maintenance work or environmental investigations.

NOTIFIABLE ACTIVITIES AND ENVIRONMENTALLY RELEVANT ACTIVITIES
The Project does not propose to conduct any notifiable activities, as listed in Schedule 3 of the Environmental Protection Act 1994 (EP Act), during the term of this PoO.
No Environmentally Relevant Activities (ERAs) are triggered as part of this Care and Maintenance PoO.
