5.0 EMBANKMENT DESIGN
A typical cross-section through the proposed waste rock embankment is shown in Figure 3, with a drawing contained in APPENDIX A.

The embankment is designed to be raised downstream progressively as the tailings fills the available storage space. The initial construction will be a Starter Dam, that will be around 30 m high. In this way the
