2.2 Climate 2.2.1 Temperature
The climate of Mount Morgan is tropical with distinct wet and dry season. Statistics for the nearest Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) station at the Rockhampton Aero (BOM station #039083, 1939 to current) have been summarised in Table 2.1 and Figure 2.2, which indicates that the mean maximum and mean minimum temperatures range from 32.3 °C in December to 9.8 °C in July.
