Analysis comments
– Arsenic, cobalt, chromium, copper, cadmium, aluminium, manganese, nickel, and zinc concentrations consistently exceeded their respective 95% species protection level throughout the entire monitoring period. – Cyanide concentrations were below the 95% species protection level and the LOR the entire monitoring period. – Lead concentrations exceeded the 95% species protection level for all monitoring months, except during the August 2022, November 2022 to January 2023, May 2023, July 2023, September 2023, November 2023 and March 2024 sampling rounds. – Selenium concentrations generally exceeded the 95% species protection levels, except during the August 2022, March to April 2023, September 2023, November 2023 and March to April 2024 sampling rounds. – EC and TDS exceeded the 80 th percentile value from the EPP throughout the entire monitoring period. – pH was consistently reported below the 20 th percentile value from the EPP. Groundwater sampled at MB7-D was found to be highly acidic (pH <3.3). – Cadmium, cobalt, copper, manganese and zinc concentrations consistently exceeded their respective 95% species protection level throughout the entire monitoring period. – Chromium and selenium concentrations only exceeded their respective 95% protection levels during the October 2022 sampling round. – Cyanide, lead and arsenic concentrations were below their respective 95% species protection level the entire monitoring period. All cyanide results were reported below the LOR. – Aluminium concentrations exceeded the 95% species protection level during the November 2022, May 2023, July 2023, September to November 2023, January to May 2024 and August 2024 sampling rounds. – Nickel concentrations exceeded the 95% species protection level during the October to November 2022, December 2023, February to April 2024 and September 2024 sampling rounds. – EC and TDS exceeded the 80 th percentile value from the EPP throughout the entire monitoring period. – pH was reported below the 20 th percentile value from the EPP for 21 out of 24 sampling rounds. Groundwater measured at MB8-D was slightly acidic to neutral. – Copper and Zinc concentrations consistently exceeded their respective 95% species protection levels throughout the entire monitoring period. – Cyanide, lead, selenium and arsenic concentrations were below their respective 95% species protection level the entire monitoring period. All cyanide, lead and selenium concentrations were reported below the LOR. – Chromium and Nickel only exceeded the 95% species protection level once during the monitoring period, for the months of December 2023 and June 2023 respectively. – Zinc generally exceeded the 95% species protection level, except during the November 2022, October 2023 and March 2024 sampling rounds. – Aluminium concentrations exceeded the 95% species protection level during the August to October 2022, December 2022, January 2023, September to October 2023, December 2023 and July 2024 sampling rounds. – Aluminium concentrations exceeded the 95% species protection level for all sampling rounds, except November 2022, January 2023, August to October 2023 and February to May 2024. – EC and TDS exceeded the 80 th percentile value from the EPP throughout the entire monitoring period. – pH was reported below the 20 th percentile value from the EPP for 17 out of 24 sampling rounds. MB9 was slightly acidic to neutral.
