6. Maintenance of Translocated Plants Maintenance of the translocated plants shall be carried out for the two years after initial planting for both re-located C. megacarpa plants and tubestock to increase the likelihood of survival and to achieve compliance with completion criteria. The maintenance schedule to be followed is provided in Table 2 . It provides details of all maintenance inspections, observations and treatments that will be entered into the translocation database.

Watering

Phase 1 plants to be watered with 15 L per plant. Phase 2 plants to be watered with 5 L per plant.

• Once per week (or as required) for the first month. • Once per fortnight for months two to six. • Once per month (or as required) for months 6 - 12. • Every two months (or as required) for months 13 - 24. Watering may be increased during dry periods and/or where soils have low moisture retaining characteristics. Watering will not be required when more than 20mm of rain has been received in the preceding week. As required but checked at least every quarter.

Weeding

Weeding to be undertaken within recipient site to reduce competition and lower the fire hazard. Weeds shall be controlled by hand weeding or spot spraying with appropriate organic herbicides in suitable conditions. A systemic insecticide (e.g. Crown® or Confidor®) shall be applied if evidence of insect attack is observed, particularly during the flush of new growth or around the base of the plants following high rainfall events. Insecticide use will only be used on affected plants so as not to inhibit pollination more broadly. Root damage or plant rot shall be treated with a fungicide Divert excessive runoff or implement controls if erosion of the rootball area is observed. Check integrity and undertake repairs as necessary (where applicable).

Plant Health

As required but checked at least once a monthly for first 12 months and then every quarter for remainder of the maintenance period.

Erosion

As required but checked at least every quarter.

Exclusion Fencing and Signage Feral Animal and Stock Damage

As required but checked at least once during each 12-month period (where applicable).

Appropriate control measures shall be developed and implemented.

As required but checked at least quarterly each 12-month period (where applicable).
