3.2.4. Conservation Significant Matters 3.2.4.1. Mapped Habitat Values

Modelled potential habitat layers for EVNT species are available through Qspatial: “Potential habitat models thresholded - 2022 - Queensland” (DES, 2022). Potential habitat is modelled within the proposed Project area for the following EVNT flora species:

• • •

Acacia pedleyi

Acacia tingoorensis Cadellia pentastylis

• Eucalyptus pachycalyx subsp. waajensis • Grevillea venusta • Macrozamia platyrhachis • Parsonsia larcomensis • Parsonsia kroombitensis • Phaius australis • Polianthion minutiflorum • Pomaderris coomingalensis • Sophora fraseri • Samadera bidwillii • Sannantha brachypoda Potential habitat is modelled within the proposed Project area for the following EVNT fauna species: • Plains-wanderer ( Pedionomus torquatus ) • Powerful Owl ( Ninox strenua ) • Pale Imperial Hairstreak ( Jalmenus eubulus ) • Large-eared Pied Bat ( Chalinolobus dwyeri ) • Tusked Frog ( Adelotus brevis ) • Common Death Adder ( Acanthophis antarcticus ) • Glossy black cockatoo ( Calyptorhynchus lathami ) Of these species, 1 was returned in the PMST database search as potentially occurring within a 10 km radius of the Project area (Large-eared pied bat). 3.2.4.2. Threatened Flora Species Desktop assessments identified a total of 29 EVNT flora species (with 13 having potential to occur within a 10 km radius of the Project area), 16 of which are listed under the EPBC Act and 27 under the NC Act. These species are outlined in Table 7 with their LoO. A detailed table in the appendix (Table 25) provides species notes, and habitat preferences.
