7.2 Ancillary Infrastructure A summary of the ancillary infrastructure locations, size and environmental values are provided in Table 49. The proposed rehabilitation strategy for these features are provided in Section 7.5.3. Table 49. Ancillary Infrastructure and Environmental Value

No new disturbance is required to install the pipeline corridor as the alignment will occur on an existing track that is already authorised as a mine feature. The pipeline corridor will be above ground so as not to disturb underlying soils and vegetation. As such, there are no environmental values that will be impacted from this mine feature. Historical mining activities that have occurred in the laydown footprint are associated with former workshops and storage areas. Extensive leveling has historically occurred to establish the former buildings and the footprint is highly disturbed. There are no known environmental values within the footprint due to the historical mining activities. Both these features are located on the existing Western Dump, which is a mine feature not authorised for disturbance in the EA. Material from the Open Cut Pit excavation was historically placed in the Western Dump before the 1940s. The Western Dump is partially vegetated however the vegetation is patchy and likely self-propagated as there are no records of rehabilitation efforts. The topsoil stockpile and onsite nursery are intended to be temporary features. There are no environmental values that will be impacted from these mine feature No new disturbance is required to extend the haul road as the alignment will occur on an existing track. However, the haul road extension is not authorised as a mine feature, whilst the adjoining haul road is authorised. As the track is existing there are no environmental values that will be impacted from this mine feature extension.
