A suitably qualified fauna spotter/catcher will be present during vegetation clearing in MSES habitat areas to mining risk of injury to native fauna. Spotter/catchers will hold appropriate permits under the NC Act Development of species-specific management plans for Cycas megacarpa and Grevillea hockingsii. These plans will strive towards a net-positive outcome for the two species by committing to the collection and propagation of seeds, and the translocation or planting of these species into suitable recipient sites. New populations will be established prior to clearing of existing populations. The nearest sensitive receptors are residential properties located approximately 2.1km from the Upper Mundic Gully TSF location. Noise most likely to be generated during TSF construction only, TSF operations will not contribute to excess noise generation Continue to conduct activities in accordance with Schedule D – Noise of the EA.

weeds, it is likely that the population of Cycas megacarpa and Grevillea hockingsii within the project area will decline without intervention.

Clearing of known populations of Cycas megacarpa and, Grevillea hockingsii so that the overall population of each species declines.

If intervention of protection species is not undertaken, then it is highly likely that the site will continue to degrade due to the presence of WONS and increased fire risk which will further impact on the viability of the species in their current location.

None required. Prevailing wind directions, implementation of management practices and the distance between the sources of noise and receptors will be sufficient to minimise noise during construction of the TSF.
