9. Forward Works Plan A forward works plan has been prepared that commits the applicant to conducting further works to either inform data gaps or commit to regulatory required actions. These forward works, whether a condition in the EA may be required and timeframes are provided in Table 71. Table 71. Forward Works Plan

State Environmental Offsets
Environmental offset under the EO Act is required for the permanent destruction of some RE 11.10.2 which is classified as a MSES (Regulated Vegetation – Category B ‘Of Concern’). Provide updated MSES mapping to the Queensland Herbarium

Geotechnical Investigation
Execution of geotechnical investigations to achieve the following objectives: - Identify geohazards and site features (e.g. faulting, shear zones, preferential seepage paths)
Prior to 30 June 2027, the holder of this EA must provide a geotechnical investigation report to the administering authority. This geotechnical investigation report must be prepared by an appropriately qualified person and approved by a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland. The report must include the following:· - Summary of the geotechnical investigation undertaken including bore logs and any CPT data; · Summary of laboratory testing and· investigation findings.· - how the geotechnical information will be used to inform the basis of design· - factor of safety analysis· - geotechnical risk management

Assess foundation lithology and material characterisation Enable development of a geological ground model Assess potential for seepage beneath the TSF embankment and through abutments Calibrate the stability and seepage modelling to be undertaken as part of the TSF detailed design Assess lining and erosion protection requirements for the spillway excavation

Execution of geotechnical investigation will require completing the following activities: - Geological mapping - Test pitting to confirm the depth of weather rock which is expected to be near the surface of the gully - Borehole drilling into competent rock to assess strengths and seepage potential - Packer testing to verify the seepage potential of the foundation rock
