All regulated structures must be designed by, and constructed under the supervision of, a suitably qualified and experienced person in accordance with the requirements of the Manual for Assessing Consequence Categories and Hydraulic Performance of Structures (EM635) ((ESR/2016/19338) and - be designed and constructed with due consideration given to ensuring that the design integrity would not be compromised on account of:

Provides additional assurances that outcomes of seepage assessments and updated seepage management plans will be incorporated into future details design works.

o floodwaters from entering the regulated dam from any watercourse or drainage line; and

wall failure due to erosion by floodwaters arising from any watercourse or drainage line.

o

- have the floor and sides of the dam designed and constructed to prevent or minimise the passage of the wetting front and any entrained contaminants through either the floor or sides of the dam during the operational life of the dam and for any period of decommissioning and rehabilitation of the dam Prior to 30 June 2027, the holder of this EA must provide a geotechnical investigation report to the administering authority.
