Additionally, if a spillway is required, the expected spillway location would be to allow discharging to the south towards SSG. It is expected that spills occurring from the UMG TSF would be largely contained/attenuated by SSG and OCP, and any remaining overflow to be contained in the downstream drainage infrastructure and Dee River. This CCA is required to be updated following a change in expected outflow behaviour or downstream receptors which may change the understanding of potential impact and consequence category. It is also recommended that further analysis is completed to refine seepage modelling and understanding, and to complete an ecological survey for the area north-west of the TSF to confirm the presence of GDEs.
