Corymbia citriodora open forest on igneous rocks (granite) with rocky outcrops (land zone 12)

– Dispersal and denning and nesting habitat for parrots, owls and microbats. Note: due to lack of associated large hollows, this habitat type is not suitable for the greater glider and yellow- bellied glider – Foraging and dispersal habitat for koala and northern quoll – Nesting and foraging habitat for canopy- dwelling birds – Refuges and basking areas for snakes, dragons, skinks and geckos – Foraging habitat for ground-dwelling mammals – Potential habitat for threatened fauna species –koala, greater glider, yellow-bellied glider, northern quoll, ghost bat, white-throated needletail and short-beaked echidna.

– Aligns with RE 11.12.6 – Dominated by Blakella citriodora – Scattered Eucalyptus crebra and Lophostemon suaveolens – Shrub layer is sparse or absent – Very sparse understory with some native grasses – Low density of logs, timber piles, woody debris and other ground-level microhabitats – Rocky outcrops – Stony and shallow soils
