Further research into Queensland Globe Database [4] regarding groundwater users within 10 km from the proposed UMG TSF area, indicates the following: — There are 209 bores registered as water supply role, most of which are located east of the mine site across the Dee River and in proximity to the Mount Morgan township. — There are 41 bores with an unknown or unclassified facility role. — A small number of registered groundwater users occur in proximity to the proposed UMG TSF location; however, no bores are located within the proposed TSF footprint. Nearby bores are limited to sub-artesian monitoring and water supply bores.

The GDEs and registered groundwater user locations within the researched area are presented in Figure 4.5 below.
