Mount Morgan Mine Upper Mundic Gully TSF EA Amendment

Monitoring of individuals within the reference site will be undertaken on an annual basis until such time that monitoring of plants at the recipient site is completed, including tubestock. Parameters measured will be the same as those measured at the recipient site and will include representative age classes. All plants in the nurseries will be inspected by nursery staff on a weekly basis, with information on watering regime, mortality, plant health/damage and weeds to be recorded in the nursery database. Quarterly updates shall be provided to the specialist ecologist from the specialist seedling grower.

7.2 Assessment criteria and corrective actions Assessment criteria and corrective actions are provided in Table 3 .

The assessment criteria have been established to provide an objective means of determining whether the translocation program is progressing as intended or has been achieved. Corrective actions will be implemented when monitoring detects emerging risks to the translocation program or assessment criteria are unlikely to be met without intervention.

7.3 Reporting Reporting actions and timings are listed in Table 4 below. As per Table 4 an annual monitoring report will be made available, and this will demonstrate the progress made towards performance indicators and completion criteria. Annual reports will be peer-reviewed and made available for public access on the proponent’s website. Once the cycad translocation plan is finalised a final monitoring and evaluation report will be provided as outlined in Table 4. This final report will demonstrate the successes and learnings from the project.
