2.3 Local occurrence A population survey was conducted for Grevillea hockingsii . This survey involved transversing all areas within the impact area and G. hockingsii was confirmed. In total 67 individuals of G. hockingsii were confirmed within or adjacent to the project area during field surveys ( Figure 2 ). Individuals ranged from seedlings to mature flowering/seeding individuals. All individuals appeared to be in good health. In addition to the above population, approximately 24.30 ha of possible habitat is mapped on site. However, because of the micro habitat requirements for this species of soak edges and moist sheltered gullies, a maximum of 2.2ha of suitable habitat has been mapped by the author within the project area.
