4. Reference Site A reference site will be established in the general vicinity of the recipient site A ( Figure 2 ), prior to the planting operations, to monitor any naturally occurring changes in population dynamics/health over time, if further populations can be located within adjacent areas. Given the specific microhabitat requirements of the species observed this may not be entirely possible. Any plants still present on the recipient site will be identified and monitored.
