• Propagating cuttings and grafted plants from the material provided to produce a minimum of 15 clones to suitable standard (healthy and free of pathogens, pests and weeds). • Maintaining correct labeling of seedlings and tubestock to corresponding parent number in order to track the genetics. • Tracking and reporting on progress, including germination rates, survival rates, growth stages, health, watering/fertiliser regimes, representative photos. • Establishment of a seed orchard for preserving the future genetics from the collected specimens. Odd Spot Plants has been approached to undertake this contract. The owner and principal horticulturalist Neil Paterson has degree qualifications in Horticulture and 30 plus years of experience in the storing of seed and propagation of native Australian plants. This nursery is uniquely equipped to be able to propagate via seed; cuttings; grafting; transplanting and from invitro tissue culture stock. This Nursery has prior experience in propagating threatened native plants via the above methods and a full understanding of the need to keep accurate records at every stage of the process.
