Action Program
All monitoring results will be catalogued and maintained by the site Environmental Co-ordinator responsible for the Project, for a minimum of five years. Monitoring results will be made available to the administering authority on request. A suitably qualified person will be responsible for environmental monitoring activities. This person will be trained in environmental sampling and monitoring techniques and understand the monitoring standards and requirements of the EA. Any flammable and combustible liquids will be stored on site in accordance with AS 1940 – Storage and Handling of Flammable and Combustible Liquids of 2017. A spill response procedure will be developed to ensure the potential for spillage of flammable and combustible liquids is minimised. In the case of an emergency / incident resulting in release of contaminants or an exceedance of monitoring limits the administering authority will be notified as soon as practicable.

Record, compile and keep for a minimum of five years all monitoring results required by this environmental authority and make available for inspection all or any of these records upon request by the administering authority.

Where monitoring is a requirement of this environmental authority, ensure that a
competent person(s) conducts all monitoring.
Storage & handling of flammable & combustible liquids A8 Spillage of all flammable and combustible liquids must be contained within an on- site containment system and controlled in a manner that prevents environmental harm (other than trivial harm) and maintained in accordance with AS 1940 – Storage and Handling of Flammable and Combustible Liquids of 2017. Notification of emergencies, incidents and exceptions A9 As soon as practicable after becoming aware of any emergency or incident which results in the release of contaminants not in accordance, or reasonably expected to be not in accordance with the conditions of this environmental authority, the administering authority must be notified of the release by telephone or facsimile.

In the event of the administering authority being notified of an incident or exception as per condition A9, the information provided shall be consistent with the requirements of condition A10.
include but not be limited to the following: (a) The holder of the environmental authority; (b) The location of the emergency or incident; (c) The number of the environmental authority; (d) The name and telephone number of the designated contact person; (e) The time of the release; (f) The time the holder of the environmental authority became aware of the release; (g) The suspected cause of the release; (h) The environmental harm caused, threatened, or suspected to be caused by the release; and
