10.3 Assumptions and Exclusions

It is assumed that the client will supply:

▪ Diesel, power and water to the contractors at no cost

▪ On-site office accommodation for the contractor teams

The following items have been excluded in the development of this estimate:

Escalation

Constructing permanent access roads

 Construction of any related water supply, management or treatment other than those noted

Import customs, duties and or destination charges

Taxes, royalties, permits and or license fees

 Bonding or other costs associated with contract security

Inclement weather or climate related delays

Permitting or obtaining permits

Maintenance of the mine haul roads

 Special excavation methods such as ripping or drilling and blasting of rock

 Removal, handling or disposal of any hazardous, contaminated, or toxic materials encountered

Costs associated with event-driven risks

Geotechnical services to investigate options

 Costs associated with the client o perations’ activities

 Environmental investigations or environmental monitoring cost

 Any environmental requirement not identified in the scope

 Removal of any debris from the in-dam trash screen

 Extraordinary market forces (Included in Owner’s Risk)

Exchange rate variations

Project delay in start date or suspension

 Capital contributions to local, state or federal governments for infrastructure

Closure costs / Rehabilitation costs

Site security

Permanent site safety equipment.

10.4 Costing summary The estimated costs have been based on the assumptions and exclusions outlined in the previous section. The estimates were developed using detailed cost breakdowns and assumptions provided by the client,
