6.6.8 Proposed monitoring bore installation The installation of additional monitoring bores near and within the footprint of the proposed TSF is proposed to better understand the local hydrogeology of this area of the site. Further details on the rationale for these locations and the testing and sampling that is recommended as part of a hydrogeological field investigation are provided in the sub-sections below. Preliminary Drilling Locations Preliminary drilling locations are provided in Figure 46. These locations are provided here for planning purposes and the exact locations and target depths must be determined in consultation with the geotechnical engineers responsible for designing the TSF and conducting the necessary geotechnical assessment of the TSF foundation.
