Mount Morgan Mine Upper Mundic Gully TSF EA Amendment

also be confirmed by staff from Heritage Minerals, as some areas of the Upper Mundic Valley are steep and not easily accessible with a drill rig and the supporting equipment needed to install the proposed monitoring bores. Drilling Method and Bore Installation For planning purposes a single (50 mm diameter) monitoring bore be installed at each drilling location except for the MB25, MB29, and MB30 locations, where a pair of monitoring bores, specifically a shallow monitoring bore and a deeper monitoring bore in separate boreholes, is recommended. The estimated target depths for the new monitoring bores are summarised in Table 42. Target depths are provided for planning purposes only and the exact depth of drilling and screening intervals for monitoring bores will depend on drilling conditions, including the competency of bedrock and the depth at which the target lithology is encountered. 6.6.8.2 Drilling and bore installation be supervised by an appropriately qualified hydrogeologist who is familiar with local bedrock conditions and can log the bedrock based on acceptable (industry standard) procedures. Bore drilling and construction must be completed by a qualified and appropriately licensed drilling contractor, using methods appropriate to the geological conditions encountered. All works must be undertaken in accordance with applicable Queensland requirements and relevant industry guidance, including the Minimum Construction Requirements for Water Bores in Australia (ADIA, 2025).
