Open forest in sheltered gorges on coarse-grained sedimentary rocks with rocky outcrops (land zone 10)

– Dispersal and denning and nesting habitat for possums, small gliders, parrots, owls, monitors and microbats. Note: due to lack of associated large hollows, this habitat type is not suitable for the greater glider and yellow-bellied glider – Foraging and dispersal habitat for gliders and other folivores – Foraging and dispersal habitat for northern quoll – Nesting and foraging habitat for canopy- dwelling birds – Refuges and basking areas for snakes, dragons, skinks and geckos – Foraging habitat for ground-dwelling mammals – Potential habitat for threatened fauna species –northern quoll, ghost bat and short-beaked echidna. – Dispersal and denning and nesting habitat parrots, small gliders and owls.
