vegetation in scrubby urbanised areas (DCCEEW, 2025). Cycas megacarpa is endemic to south-east Queensland. It is found from Woolooga to Bouldercombe (Queensland Herbarium, 2025). C. megacarpa occurs in spotted gum ( Blakella citriodora subsp. variegata ) and narrow- leaved ironbark ( Eucalyptus crebra ) woodland and open forest with a grassy understorey. It has also been recorded on rainforest margins (DCCEEW, 2025). Cycas ophiolitica is endemic to Queensland, occurring from Marlborough to Rockhampton in central-eastern Queensland. C. ophiolitica grows on hills and slopes in sparse, grassy open forest at altitude ranges from 80–400 m above sea level. Although this species reaches its best development on red clay soils near Marlborough, it is more frequently found on shallow, stony, infertile soils, which are developed on sandstone and serpentinite. (DCCEEW,2025) Erect perennial grass to about 0.7 m. Occurs from Toowoomba to Lynd Junction in the Brigalow Belt, Cape York Peninsula, Desert Uplands, Einasleigh Uplands, North West Highlands and South East Queensland bioregions. Occurs in heavy soils (predominantly cracking clays or alluvium, often in gilgai) in woodland or open woodland usually dominated by Acacia (brigalow) and/or Eucalyptus species (DETSI, 2025). Eucalyptus raveretiana has a wide distribution in coastal and sub-coastal areas of Queensland, from south of Townsville to Nebo. Grows along watercourses and occasionally river flats or open woodland. It does not occur in pure stands, but is co- dominant with species such as Melaleuca leucadendra , M. fluviatilis , Eucalyptus tereticornis , Blakella tessellaris (DETSI, 2025).
