Grevillea hockingsii only occurs in Queensland, where it is known from three disjunct areas: Coominglah State Forest west of Monto, Callide Ra. east of Biloela, and Razor Back Ra. Near Mt Morgan (DETSI, 2025). The species is found on slopes in hilly sandstone country on shallow sandy to sandy loam soils which are light brown to red in colour and occasionally stony or gravelly. It grows in woodland or open forest communities (DETSI, 2025). Leichhardtia brevifolia occurs in north and central Queensland where it is known from near Townsville, Springsure and north of Rockhampton (DCCEEW, 2025). North of Rockhampton, L. brevifolia grows on serpentine rock outcrops or crumbly black soils derived from serpentine in eucalypt woodland, often with Eucalyptus fibrosa and Corymbia xanthope . Near Paluma, the species grows in woodland dominated by E. granitica and E. acmenoides on granite soils (DCCEEW, 2025). Polianthion minutiflorum is known from five areas in east Queensland from Redcliffe Vale, south to Kingaroy. The species occurs in forest and
