Action Program

F3 The holder of the environmental authority must implement and maintain measures in each of the operational areas identified in Table F1 – Summary of operational activities on land to temporarily store rainfall runoff from a seventy-two (72) hour storm of a higher annual exceedance probability than that nominated in Table F1 – Summary of operational activities on land.

No mining will occur on site during the term of this PoO. No new disturbances will occur in the operational areas listed in Table F1 – Summary of operational activities on land.

Any material that has been moved will be left in a stable flat pile and any side slopes will be left at a safe angle. All rehabilitation (i.e. returning site to original profile) will be carried out at the end of each job before supervisor and contractor leave site. Although not projected for the term of this PoO, all rehabilitation conducted will be undertaken progressively No mining or mineral processing activities will be carried out at any areas on the Mount Morgan Mine during the term of this PoO. Only minor activities will occur, including maintenance and environmental investigations.

Rehabilitation landform criteria F4

All disturbed land must be rehabilitated to a stable landform with a self-sustaining vegetation cover in accordance with Table F2 – Summary of current and expected land suitability and land use and Table 3 – Landform design.

F5

Progressive rehabilitation must commence when areas become available .

F6 The holder of the environmental authority must complete an investigation into rehabilitation of disturbed areas and submit a report to the administering authority proposing acceptance criteria to meet the outcomes in Table F2 – Summary of current and expected land suitability and land use and landform design criteria in Table 3 – Landform design . The report must be submitted to the administering authority within twelve (12) months of mining and tailings deposition commencing for No 2 Mill Tailings Dam Area and the Sandstone Gully Tailings Dam respectively, and within six (6) months of commencing mining disturbance at all other areas. All infrastructure, constructed by or for the environmental authority holder during the mining activities, including water storage structures, must be removed from the site prior to mining lease surrender, except where agreed in writing by the post mining land owner / holder . Subject to the release limits defined in Department Interest – Land , all reasonable and practicable measures must be implemented to prevent hazardous leachate being directly or indirectly released or likely to be released as a result of the activity to any groundwater or water course . Infrastructure F7 Acid rock drainage and leachate management F8
