NA – New condition proposed
As impact to Grevillea hockingsii can not be avoided, a management plan is proposed to mitigate impacts. C onsidering the historical disturbance and degraded nature of the project area, including existing ARD contamination in soil, the modified hydrology, and the presence of dense patches of weeds, it is likely that the population of Grevillea hockingsii within the project area will decline without intervention. In lieu of model mining conditions that relate specifically to Grevillea hockingsii Management Plans, a suitably qualified and experienced person has proposed that harvesting of the plants for propagation at locations off tenure is the best management approach
Prior to the construction of the Upper Mundic Gully TSF, the authority holder must develop, document and implement a Grevillea hockingsii Management Plan.

NA – New condition proposed
The Grevillea hockingsii Management Plan must include: a. identification of Grevillea hockingsii individuals within the area to be impacted by the construction of the Upper Mundic Gully TSF; b. measures to harvest Grevillea hockingsii plants or plant parts for propagation and growing-on at an identified planting site, to be used for a suitable conservation outcome; c. a methodology and timeline for management actions, including a map of the planting site; d. measures for the management, maintenance and protection of

the population of Grevillea hockingsii individuals in the
planting site for a period of five years following final planting; and e. a program for monitoring and review of the effectiveness of the Grevillea hockingsii Management Plan. Prior to the construction of the Upper Mundic Gully TSF, the environmental authority holder must develop, document and implement a Cycas megacarpa Management Plan.
